IV Racing has a new series to introduce to all Motorcycle & ATV desert racers comming this 2010 season, its called the IV Desert Cup Championship Series The AMA/ATVA Sanctioned series will consist of 4 special point paying events to decide the IV Desert Cup Champion . The events will be combination day/ night and will be scored by time & class. Class champs and 1 overall mc & atv IV Desert Cup Champion (lowest total e.t. from all 4 events combined) will determin the champs at the end of the 4 events..........

Minor Riders (17yrs and under) must meet the following release requirements to enter any AMA sanctioned event.

1. Both parents to sign at the sign up

2. Notarized release from one parent and other parent to sign at sign up

3. AMA Annual Release Card www.amadirectlink.com

ALL SIGNATURES WILL BE WITNESSED AT SIGN Up/ ID WILL BE REQUIRED UPON REQUEST ADULTS MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE DURING EVENT

We now have an"online entry" form , for pre entry,,,you can submit your entry ahead of time and then show up ,sign and pay ,hopefully this will speed up the sign up line.....remember to submit your entry early ,or just wait till you get there,it won't do any good to fill out the online entry the day before the event, because we'll be out in the desert and won't be able to receive it ,.................we will accept entries 2 weeks prior of event date and will stop receiving them the Friday. Before the event date,,this will enable us to have ready for you 1.fender card 2.your bar code sticker 3. We will have your "hard copy entry form" allready filled out this way all you have to do is sign and pay, any questions call or E mail us....plus now you can get an online rate saving you $$........GP

2010 entry requirements: Valid AMA/ATVA membership avaialable at www.ama-cycle.org and also at sign-up @ $39.00/yr RED/GREEN sticker/or/out of state permit/ sparkarrester

2010 Race format The youth will kick off the events this coming year with their own point paying season,expect the same exciting youth courses with check points and pits just like the big races,with the same great trophies and finish pins presented at the main event riders meeting....for the big guys/gals....This coming year IVR will introduce the twin loop layout, one loop for motorcycles and a seprate loop for the atvs, they will share the start, pit row and home check, racing on their own loop at the same time, this will allow for the event to run in a "normal" amount of time instead of lasting late into the night, the start will be during the afternoon to allow for half of the distance to be raced during the daylight, finishing the second half at night with the lights.

2010 series canceled We regret to announce the cancellation of the 2010 Desert Cup Championship. On January 8th a family member suffered a massive heart attack, and after a week in the El Centro ICU is being moved to San Diego, With all the family commitments, we just don't have the time needed to commit to promoting a series. The Feb.13th date is being canceled, the other dates will have to be announced at a later date, we will continue to work on the series and hope to bring it back at a later date, please watch the website for up dates.........Thanks for understanding.............ADMIN IVR GP

Feb. 2: FM making a recovery and just released to home , still a long way to go for him, now the series will be shortened by one race,although we have a sanction for the Feb. Date we havn't the time to organize this close to the date, so we're gearing up to come back in April and have some much needed fun ,watch for the flyer ....GP
